CloudFruit LLC ("CloudFruit," "we," "us," or "our") operates the HiiBo web and mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). HiiBo is a product developed and maintained by CloudFruit. This Privacy Policy explains how CloudFruit collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use HiiBo. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1.1 Account Information. When you sign up, we collect your name, username, email address, phone number (optional), and password or social login credentials.
1.2 Usage Data. We log your interactions with the Service—threads created, prompts entered, tokens used, and AI responses—to power features like memory, context hydration, and usage analytics.
1.3 Device & Technical Data. We automatically collect IP address, browser type/version, operating system, and performance metrics to keep the Service running smoothly.
1.4 Payment Information. If you purchase a subscription or token pack, we collect payment method tokens or transaction IDs via our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number.

- Provide & Improve the Service: To authenticate you, maintain your threads & memory, manage subscriptions, and troubleshoot issues. AI responses generated during your interactions with HiiBo are not used to train or improve underlying AI models beyond providing you personalized service and memory functionality unless explicitly indicated.
- Personalization: To remember your preferences (e.g. thread personalities) and surface relevant features.
- Billing & Account Management: To process payments, handle refunds, and send receipts or renewal reminders.
- Communications: To send transactional emails (e.g. verification, password reset), product updates, and (with your consent) marketing newsletters.
- Security & Compliance: To detect and prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.

We will not sell your personal data. We may share it:
- With Service Providers: Stripe (for payments), HubSpot (for CRM), and cloud hosting partners—each under strict confidentiality terms.
- For Legal Reasons: In response to valid subpoenas, court orders, or lawful requests by public authorities.
- Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where user data is one of the transferred assets.

We may store or process your data in countries other than your own. In such cases, we ensure adequate data protection measures, such as appropriate contractual clauses, are in place.

- Delete Your Account: You may request permanent deletion at bo@hiibo.app.

- Marketing Opt Out: Click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email or update your preferences in Account Settings.

You retain ownership of all content you generate and submit via HiiBo, but you grant CloudFruit a license to use such content as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, strictly within your account and personalized environment

If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively, such as data portability, restricting processing, and opting out of certain data uses. Please contact us at bo@hiibo.app to exercise these rights.

We aim to respond to user data requests within 30 days. If additional time is required, we will communicate clearly with you about expected timelines.

HiiBo is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have such data, please contact us to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy for legal, operational, or product related reasons. We will post the new “Effective Date” at the top and, if the changes are material, notify you via email or in app notice.
